Simulation of Cold Roll Forming Process, Reza Ghavidel Jafari, 200­6

Abstract:

Cold Roll Forming is an important sheet metal process that used in production of sections with constant thickness. High volume, low cost and high quality products are no longer the only basis for growing market share. It is increasingly necessary for companies to offer products that satisfy customers individually and at an affordable price. In fact roll forming is an art more than a science. In this research we tend to introduce Roll Forming Process, use some systems of design and analyze. Also in this project we measured Strain in Roll Form Process. This is an online measurement using Data Acquisition card.
